Description

The Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 HPLC system is applied for the analysis of sugars in a sports beverage in HILIC mode. The separation is performed using a Thermo Scientific Acclaim Trinity P2 column, with charged aerosol detection. While ion analysis is its primary use, the Acclaim Trinity P2 can also be used in HILIC mode for analysis for hydrophilic neutral substances such as the simple sugars shown here.
