Description
Size-exclusion chromatography is used in carbohydrate research to determine molecular weight distributions of polysaccharides. Size-exclusion columns separate biological macromolecules by hydrodynamic size. Pulsed amperometric detection (PAD), provides sensitive and specific detection of carbohydrates.
