Assay and organic impurities analysis of tetracycline using a polar embedded C18 HPLC column as per USP 39 monograph method
Instrument Type: HPLCThe Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 LC system is applied for the assay and organic impurities analysis of Tetracycline. The analysis was performed on a Thermo Scientific Acclaim Polar Advantage II C18 HPLC column using the method described in the USP 39 monograph. The results obtained for peak resolution exceed the criteria stated in the USP. Resolution between epitetracycline and tetracycline was 6.5 (USP criteria of NLT 2.5) and anhydrotetracycline and 4-epianhydrotetracycline was 8.7 (USP criteria of NLT 2.5). The tailing for tetracycline was 1.0 (USP criteria of NMT 1.5)
Separation of related Impurities of Ondansetron
Instrument Type: HPLCThe Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 LC system is applied to the separation of the related impurities of Ondansetron. The separation was performed on a Thermo Scientific Acclaim Polar Advantage II C18 HPLC column with UV detection at 216 nm. With a total run time of 65 minutes the method gives separation of all related impurities of Ondansetron.
Separation of Related Impurities from Vercuronium Bromide as per BP monograph.
Instrument Type: HPLCThe Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 LC system is applied for the analysis of Vercuronium Bromide. The separation was performed on a Thermo Scientific Acclaim Polar Advantage-II HPLC column using the method described in BP monograph. The results obtained for Resolution exceeded the criteria stated in the BP. Resolution between Vercuronium Bromide and Impurity-C was 8.97 ( met BP criteria of NLT 1.2), Resolution between Vercuronium Bromide and Impurity-F was 2.15 (met BP criteria of NLT 1.2) and Resolution between Vercuronium Bromide and Impurity-B was 10.78 (met BP criteria NLT 2.0).
TN73: Determination of PFOA and PFOS in Water Samples Using On-Line Sample Concentration, Reversed-Phase Liquid Chromatography and Suppressed Conductivity Detection
Instrument Type: ICThis technical note describes a methodology to determine Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA) and Perfluorooctanesulfonic Acid (PFOS) in water samples using on-line sample concentration, reversed-phase HPLC separation, and suppressed conductivity detection. Instrument setup, sample concentration, chromatographic method, calibration, and limits of detection are detailed.
Separation and determination of acesulfame K and sucralose in beer using a polar embedded HPLC column with RI detection
Instrument Type: HPLCThe Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 LC system is applied for the separation and determination of acesulfame K and sucralose in beer. The separation was performed on a Thermo Scientific Acclaim Polar Advantage II (PA2) HPLC column. The results obtained for resolution between acesulfame K and sucralose was greater than 5 and tailing factor were less than 2.0 for both compounds.
