Determination of Potential Chloride and Sulfate in Denatured Ethanol Samples Using a Compact Ion Chromatography System

Instrument Type: IC

This method shows the direct determination of potential chloride and sulfate in a peroxide-treated denatured ethanol sample, previously published in Application Update 194. In this record, the method is executed on an Integrion IC system.

Determination of Anions in Municipal Drinking Water Using a Carbonate Eluents on a Compact Ion Chromatography System

Instrument Type: IC

This record shows a 5-min, fast separation of anions in a municipal drinking water sample on the 4µm resin particle format IonPac AS22-Fast-4µm column. This method upgrades Application Brief AB120 by improving the separation using the 4µm resin particle column to produce more efficient peaks. The Integrion ion chromatography system is designed to work with the high pressures generated by the 4µm particles to deliver the improved separation.

AU197: Anion Determinations in Municipal Wastewater Samples Using EPA Method 300.1 (A) on an Integrated Ion Chromatography System

Instrument Type: IC

Inorganic anions were determined in three municipal wastewater samples according to U.S. EPA Method 300.1 (A). Nine anions were separated on IonPac AS22 anion-exchange column using manually prepared carbonate-bicarbonate eluent. The anions were detected by suppressed conductivity using chemical regenerant mode with the Thermo Scientific Dionex MMS 300 suppressor and 25 mN sulfuric acid at 7 mL/min.

AU196: Anion Determinations in Municipal Drinking Water Samples Using EPA Method 300.1 (A) on an Integrated IC System

Instrument Type: IC

Four California municipal drinking water samples were analyzed according the U.S. EPA Method 300.1 (A) on a 4 x 250 mm IonPac AS22 column using manually prepared carbonate-based eluent. Six inorganic anions were detected.
