Related substances analysis of sulfamethoxazole using a C8 HPLC column as per EP 8.0 monograph method

The Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 LC system is applied for the related substances analysis of Sulfamethoxazole. The analysis was performed on a Thermo Scientific Syncronis C8 HPLC column using the method described in the EP-8.0 monograph. The results obtained for peak resolution and relative retention times exceeded the criteria stated in the EP. Resolution between sulfamethoxazole and Impurity-A was 5.7 (EP criteria of not less than 3.5).

Separation of related impurities of Furosemide injection as per BP Monograph.

The Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 LC system is applied for the separation of related impurities of Furosemide Injection as per BP Monograph 2007. The separation was performed on a Thermo Scientific Syncronis C8 HPLC column with UV detection at 238 nm. With a total run time of 36 minutes the method allows separation of all related impurities of Furosemide. The obtained Relative retention time of Impurity C, B, A, E and D with respect to Furosemide peak are as 0.39, 0.43, 0.76, 1.28 and 1.5 minutes respectively

USP 38 monography - assay of lovastatin related compound A using a C8 HPLC column

The Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 LC system is applied for the assay analysis of lovastatin related compound-A. The analysis was performed on a Thermo Scientific Syncronis C8 HPLC column using the method described in the USP 38 monograph. Resolution between lovastatin and lovastatin related compound A was 10.9 (exceeded USP criteria of NLT 6.0). Relative retention time of lovastatin related compound A with respect to lovastatin was 1.39 (met USP criteria of about 1.3). The % RSD for replicate injection of standard solution was 0.9% (exceed USP criteria not more than 5.0%).

Analysis of fenoprofen using the USP method with a Thermo Scientific Syncronis C8 HPLC column
