Separation of related impurities of Furosemide injection as per BP Monograph.
DescriptionThe Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 LC system is applied for the separation of related impurities of Furosemide Injection as per BP Monograph 2007. The separation was performed on a Thermo Scientific Syncronis C8 HPLC column with UV detection at 238 nm. With a total run time of 36 minutes the method allows separation of all related impurities of Furosemide. The obtained Relative retention time of Impurity C, B, A, E and D with respect to Furosemide peak are as 0.39, 0.43, 0.76, 1.28 and 1.5 minutes respectively
