Quantitative and Semi-Quantitative Determination of PPCPs and Their By-Products in Wastewater by Orbitrap MS

Instrument Type: LCMS

Pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs) and endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) detected in surface and drinking waters, as well as in treated wastewater. They are an issue of increasing international attention due to potential environmental impacts. We developed an analytical method capable of determining PPCPs and their by-products in wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) samples. This workflow was applied in a survey of 35 permeate samples obtained from a pilot anaerobic membrane bioreactor (AnMBR).

Improved gradient separation of propafenone and related substances

Instrument Type: HPLC

The Thermo Scientific HPLC system is applied for the analysis of propafenone and related substances. The separation is performed using a Thermo Scientific Acclaim PolarAdvantage column, with UV detection at 249 nm.

Fast isocratic separation of six cardiac antiarrhythmic drugs (beta-blockers)

Instrument Type: HPLC

The Thermo Scientific HPLC system is applied for the analysis of beta-blockers. The separation is performed using a Thermo Scientific Acclaim 120 C8 column, with UV detection at 214 nm.

Fast determination of procainamide from human plasma using Thermo Scientific SOLA CX SPE and a Thermo Scientific Syncronis C18 HPLC column

Instrument Type: HPLC

The Thermo Scientific HPLC system is applied for the determination of procainamide. The samples are prepared using Thermo Scientific SOLA CX solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridges, and the separation performed on a Thermo Scientific Syncronis C18 HPLC column. For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Fast analysis of procainamides using a Thermo Scientific Hypersil GOLD HPLC column

Instrument Type: HPLC

The Thermo Scientific HPLC system is applied for the analysis of procainamides. The separation is performed on a Thermo Scientific Hypersil GOLD HPLC column, with UV detection at 254 nm.
