Forensic Screening for Drugs in Urine Using High-Resolution MS/MS Spectra and Simplified High-Performance Screening Software
Instrument Type: LCMSMSForensic toxicologists need an economical solution to screen for a virtually unlimited number of compounds in urine. Here we present a method for screening using a dilute-and-shoot approach with the Q Exactive Focus mass spectrometer and Thermo Scientific ToxFinder software. For forensic use only.
Quantitative and Semi-Quantitative Determination of PPCPs and Their By-Products in Wastewater by Orbitrap MS
Instrument Type: LCMSPharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs) and endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) detected in surface and drinking waters, as well as in treated wastewater. They are an issue of increasing international attention due to potential environmental impacts. We developed an analytical method capable of determining PPCPs and their by-products in wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) samples. This workflow was applied in a survey of 35 permeate samples obtained from a pilot anaerobic membrane bioreactor (AnMBR).
Extraction of phencyclidine from urine using Thermo Scientific HyperSep Servo+ PCP SPE and GC-MS analysis on a Thermo Scientific TraceGOLD TG-5MS column
Instrument Type: GCMSThe Thermo Scientific GC system is applied for the analysis of phencyclidine from urine. The samples are prepared using Thermo Scientific HyperSep Servo+ PCP SPE cartridges, and the separation is performed on a Thermo Scientific TraceGOLD TG-5MS column, with MS detection. For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Improved assay for pramoxine in topical anesthetic ointment on a Thermo Scientific Acclaim 120 C18 column with SPE clean-up
Instrument Type: HPLCThe Thermo Scientific Acclaim 120 C18 column is applied for an assay for pramoxine in topical anesthetic ointment. SPE clean-up is performed using Thermo Scientific Dionex OnGuard II RP cartridge.
Fast analysis of ingredients in a toothache pain-reliever using a Thermo Scientific Acclaim Mixed-Mode WAX-1 column
Instrument Type: HPLCThe Thermo Scientific Acclaim Mixed-Mode WAX-1 column is used for the separation of ingredients in a toothache pain-reliever, with UV detection at 210 nm.
