IC Assay for Lithium, Sodium, and Calcium in Lithium Carbonate Using a Compact Ion Chromatography System Be the first to rate this application

Description

Lithium carbonate is used to treat a number of mental health problems associated with chemical imbalance in the brain. Sodium and calcium are possible cationic impurities in lithium carbonate preparations. This record shows a method that uses a Thermo Scientific Dionex IonPac CS16 cation-exchange column, an electrolytically generated MSA eluent, and suppressed conductivity detection to determine lithium, sodium, and calcium in lithium carbonate that was published in Application Note 1090. In this record the method is executed using an Integrion ion chromatography system.
