Improved analysis of ursolic acid in apple peel

Instrument Type: HPLC

The Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 RSLC system is applied for the analysis of ursolic acid in apple peel. The separation is performed on a Thermo Scientific Acclaim C30 column, with UV detection at 210 nm. Chromatogram A is extracted Fuji apple, chromatogram B is extracted red delicious apple and chromatogram C is standards at 100 μg/mL.

Fast analysis of drugs of abuse by GC-MS

Instrument Type: GCMS

The Thermo Scientific GC system is applied for the analysis of drugs of abuse. The separation is performed on a Thermo Scientific TRACE TR-DoA 5MS GC column, with MS detection.

Retention and resolution of the highly polar compounds glyphosate and AMPA using LC-MS

Instrument Type: LCMS

In this work, the retention of highly polar compounds glyphosate and AMPA was demonstrated using the Thermo Scientific Hypercarb HPLC column using a fast and sensitive method with MS detection. Through its primary retention mechanisms (dispersive and dipole induced interactions) hypercarb shows greater retention and resolution of underivatized glyphosate and AMPA than silica based C18 without requiring an ion pair reagent in the mobile phase.

Simple isocratic analysis of ursolic and oleanolic acids using C18 and C30 columns

Instrument Type: HPLC

The Thermo Scientific UltiMate 3000 HPLC system is applied for the analysis of ursolic and oleanolic acids. The separation is performed on a Thermo Scientific Acclaim 120 C18 and an Acclaim C30 HPLC column, with UV detection. The results are compared.

Improved isocratic separation of basic, neutral, and acidic molecules on a Thermo Scientific Acclaim Mixed-Mode WAX-1 column

Instrument Type: HPLC

The Thermo Scientific Acclaim Mixed-Mode WAX-1 column is used for the isocratic separation of basic, neutral and acidic pharmaceuticals. The novel column chemistry of the Acclaim Mixed-Mode WAX-1 column provides a multi-mode separation mechanism that includes hydrophobic, anion-exchange and cation-exclusion interactions.
