目前,生物胺的准确定量测定方法主要有气质联用、 液相色谱法[2]和离子色谱法[3]等。其中仅离子色谱法无需 将生物胺经过繁琐的柱前衍生或预衍生处理,以离子交换 分离为基础,简单而迅捷地实现了腐胺、尸胺等五种生物 胺的分离测定。毛细管离子色谱的诞生,是离子色谱发展 的重要里程碑,标志着离子色谱进入了低消耗、低成本、 高效率时代。其微升级的流量,极大地降低了淋洗液的消 耗,配合淋洗液自动发生装置使用,可实现长达18个月 的连续开机运转,有效地保证了各种突发事件发生时,离 子色谱总能在第一时间内完成对应的应急样品测定。 本文以毛细管离子色谱为依托,选用高效阳离子交换 分离柱IonPac CS19,以甲基磺酸淋洗液发生器在线产生 甲基磺酸溶液,梯度淋洗,完成了地表水、自来水样品中 痕量腐胺、尸胺等五种常见生物胺的分离分析。方法重复 性较好,准确性较高。

AU193: Choline in Infant Formula and Adult Nutritionals, a Single Laboratory Validation

Choline is a water-soluble quaternary amine essential to methyl metabolism, transmembrane signaling, and normal brain development. This application update is an IC method that simultaneous determines choline and other cations. The method uses electrolytic generation of a methanesulfonic acid (MSA) eluent for a 2 mm Dionex IonPac CS19 column. This method has been reviewed by expert review panel (ERP) and approved as an AOAC Official First Action Method (AOAC Method 2012.20).

AN1057: Determination of Methylamine in Drug Products

Methylamine or monomethylamine (MMA) is widely used in different stages of the preparation of various drug substances and may be retained in the drug substance as process-related or degradation impurities. The work shown here uses a RFIC system with suppressed conductivity detection to determine MMA in drug products. This method uses a Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ IonPac™ CS19 analytical column with methanesulfonic acid (MSA) eluent produced by an eluent generator. The method separates MMA from other cations typically present in drug products.

AN1054: Determination of Ammonia in Tobacco Smoke

The application describes an IC method that achieves better resolution between ammonium and other amines for the determination of ammonia in tobacco smoke. The IC method uses a Dionex IonPac CS19 column set with electrolytically generated MSA gradient. The moderately high capacity of the Dionex IonPac CS19 column allows sample analysis without dilution. The method has high precisions (RSD <0.2% for retention time and <1% for peak area), a low detection limit (0.01 mg/L), and good recoveries (86–115%).
