Related substance analysis of Estradiol Valerate as per EP using Accucore C18 HPLC column
Instrument Type: HPLCThe Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 LC system is applied for the analysis of Related substance of Estradiol Valerate as per EP. The analysis was performed on a Thermo Scientific Accucore C18 HPLC column using the method described in the EP monograph. The results obtained were found to be within acceptance criteria as stated in the monograph. Resolution between Impurity C & estradiol valerate peak was observed to be 3.18 in the refernce solution, a (Criteria is NLT 2.5)
Related substances analysis of Cefaclor using a C18 HPLC column for EP 8.0 and JP XVI monograph method
Instrument Type: HPLCThe Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 LC system is applied for the related substances analysis of cefaclor. The analysis was performed on a Thermo Scientific Syncronis C18 HPLC column using the method described in the EP 8.0 and JP XVI. The results obtained for resolution and theoretical plates met the criteria stated in the EP/JP. The results obtained for resolution between the peaks due to cefaclor and EP Impurity D was 11.1 (EP criteria of minimum 2.0) and theoretical plates for cefaclor was 1,12,359 (JP criteria of minimum 40,000).
Assay and related substances analysis of flucloxacillin using a C18 HPLC column using the EP 8.0 and KP X monograph method.
Instrument Type: HPLCThe Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 LC system is applied for assay and related substances analysis of Flucloxacillin. The analysis was performed on a Thermo Scientific Hypersil GOLD aQ HPLC column using the method described in the EP 8.0 and KP X. The results obtained for resolution and % RSD met the criteria stated in the EP and KP. The results obtained for resolution between the peaks due to Cloxacillin and Flucloxacillin was 5.9 (EP and KP criteria of minimum 2.5) and %RSD for flucloxacillin (0.1 mg/mL) was 0.1 (EP & KP criteria of maximum 1).
AN409: Fast Determination of Acrylamide in Food Samples Using Accelerated Solvent extraction Followed by Ion Chromatography with UV or MS Detection
Instrument Type: ICThis fast determination of acrylamide method consists of a fast, automated extraction method, which finish extraction in 20 min using accelerated solvent extraction using pure water, water with 10 mM formic acid, or acetonitrile. The extracts were then directly analyzed by ion chromatography (IC) using a 4-mm ion-exclusion column and both UV and MS detection. Results were obtained for acrylamide in french fries, potato chips, and crisp bread.
Fast analysis of bromide and organic acids in cough syrup using a Thermo Scientific Acclaim Organic Acid (OA) HPLC column
Instrument Type: HPLCThe Thermo Scientific Acclaim Organic Acid column is used for the analysis of bromide and organic acids present in cough syrup. Sample preparation was performed using Thermo Scientific Dionex OnGuard II P cartridges.
