EPA Method 543 - Quantitation of Organic Pesticides in Drinking Water Using Online Pre-concentration/Solid Phase Extraction and Tandem Mass Spectrometry

Instrument Type: LCMSMS

Traditionally, United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) methods for drinking water analysis have required offline SPE to concentrate analytes to a level that can be detected using LC-MS instrumentation. This process requires the collection of large volumes of sample, typically between 250 and 1000 mL. We developed a method to assist in the validation of a new EPA method for the analysis of organic pesticides in drinking water. This method utilizes 1~2 mL injections for online preconcentration and eliminates offline solid phase extraction (SPE).

Fully Automated, Trace-Level Determination of Parent and Alkylated PAHs in Environmental Waters by Online SPE-LC-APPI-MS/MS

Instrument Type: LCMSMS

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are persistent organic pollutants produced by both human activities and natural phenomena. PAHs enter surface waters mainly by atmospheric fallout, urban runoff, municipal and industrial effluents, and the spill or leakage of petroleum and its derivates. We developed a fast, fully automated protocol for determining a large number of parent PAHs and alkylated PAHs in environmental waters, using online solid–phase extraction coupled with liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry.

采用Online SPE 液质联用法分析化妆 品中的四种糖皮质激素类药物

Instrument Type: HPLC

通过对TSQ vantage质谱参数的优化,同时采用 online SPE在线富集浓缩的技术,一是可以去除干扰,二 是可以提高分析通量,因此,该方法适合用于对化妆品 中激素类药物的分析。

Rapid and sensitive determination of clenbuterol, ractopamine and phenolethanolamine in meat using a Thermo Scientific Acclaim PolarAdvantage HPLC column

Instrument Type: HPLC

The Thermo Scientific UltiMate 3000 RSLC system is applied for the determination of clenbuterol, ractopamine and phenolethanolamine in meat. The separation is performed on a Thermo Scientific Acclaim PolarAdvantage HPLC column after automated on-line solid phase extraction using a Thermo Scientific SolEX HRP cartridge, with UV detection at 210 nm.
