Organic impurities analysis of Guaifenesin using a C18 type HPLC column as per USP 40 monograph and its fast analysis

The Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 LC system is applied for the organic impurities analysis of Guaifenesin. The analysis was performed on a Thermo Scientific Hypersil GOLD (4.6 x 250 x 5 µ) as per the specified dimension and its fast analysis using Hypersil GOLD (2.1 x 100 x 1.9 µ) and Accucore RP-MS (3 x 150 x 2.6 µ) columns as per the method described in the USP 40 (refer attachment). The results obtained for resolution on all three columns met the criteria stated in the USP (USP criteria of minimum 3.0).

Separation of related impurities of Methocarbamol Injection.

The Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 LC system is applied for the separation of related impurities of Methocarbamol Injection. The separation was performed on a Thermo Scientific Acclaim Phenyl-1 HPLC column with UV detection at 276 nm. With a total run time of 65 minutes the method allows separation of all related impurities of Methocarbamol.
