LC-MS/MS Analysis of EtG and EtS in Dilute Urine on the TSQ Endura Triple Quadrupole MS

Instrument Type: LCMSMS

We developed a high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS) method for the forensic toxicological analysis of EtG and EtS in urine with limits of quantitation (LOQs) of 100 and 50 ng/mL, respectively, using only urine dilution as sample preparation. For forensic use only.

AN284: Determination of Ethyl Sulfate Impurity in Indinavir Sulfate Drug Using Ion Chromatography

Instrument Type: IC

Indinavir sulfate is a specific and potent inhibitor of HIV-1 protease that may contain ethyl sulfate as a process contaminant. The work here shows an IC method to measure ethyl sulfate in indinavir sulfate. This method uses a Thermo Scientific Dionex IonPac AS12A column with a carbonate/bicarbonate eluent to separate ethyl sulfate from other anions, including sulfate. The eluent was produced using an eluent generator to improve ease of use and retention time reproducibility.
