Monosaccharides in Cranberry-Rasberry Juice by Capillary HPAE-PAD

Instrument Type: IC

CAP PA20 Cranberry-Rasberry Juice. Fruit juices have characteristic proportions of monosaccharides. These monosaccharide characteristics are used to whether the cranberry-rasberry juice has been adulterated with a lower cost juice. In this application monosaccharides were determined in a diluted cranberry-rasberry juice sample using a capillary ICS-5000 system and high performance anion-exchange chromatography with pulsed amperometric detection (HPAE-PAD). Glucose, fructose, and sucrose were separated on a capillary CarboPac PA20 column using electrolytically generated 50 mM KOH eluent.
