Amoxicillin Related Substances as per EP-11.0 on UltiMate 3000 HPLC System.

Instrument Type: HPLC

The Thermo Scientific UltiMate 3000 RS HPLC System was used for the analysis of related substances of Amoxicillin . The analysis was performed on a Thermo Scientific Syncronis aQ HPLC column using the method described in the EP-11.0 . The results obtained for resolution of reference solution (b) system suitability met the criteria stated in the EP-11.0. The result obtained for reference solution (b) is 6.0 (EP resolution criteria of minimum 2.0 between Amoxicillin and Cefadroxil ) for Amoxycillin-related substances as per EP 11.0 on UltiMate 3000 RS HPLC system.

Amoxicillin-Assay as per EP on UltiMate 3000 RS HPLC System.

Instrument Type: HPLC

The Thermo Scientific UltiMate 3000 RS HPLC System was used for the assay of Amoxicillin . The analysis was performed on a Thermo Scientific Syncronis aQ HPLC column using the method described in the EP-11.0 . The % RSD obtained for repeatability of reference solution (a) met the criteria stated in the EP-11.0. The result obtained for reference solution (a) is 0.24 %. (EP criteria of minimum 1.0 after 6 injections) for the Amoxycillin-Assay as per EP 11.0 on UltiMate 3000 RS HPLC System.

The VetDrugs Explorer Collection: screening and quantitation of multi-class veterinary drug residues in animal matrices with a comprehensive workflow solution

Instrument Type: LCMSMS

A robust, sensitive, and reliable multi-residue LC-MS/MS method workflow solution that uses the Thermo Scientific TSQ Altis triple quadrupole mass spectrometer provides analysis and quantitation of more than 160 veterinary drugs with the Thermo Scientific VetDrugs Explorer Collection solution in salmon (fillet), bovine muscle, and milk. The complete instrument and data processing method including SRM settings is included with the VetDrugs Explorer Collection start-to-finish workflow solution. In 17 minutes, the target veterinary drugs were detected and quantified in food matrices.

Assay analysis of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium as per USP

Instrument Type: HPLC

The Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 LC system is applied for the analysis of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Assay as per USP. The analysis was performed on a Thermo Scientific Syncronis aQ L1 HPLC column using the method described in the USP 40 monograph. The results obtained were found to be within acceptance criteria as stated in the USP. Resolution between Amoxicillin and clavulanic acid was 14.0 (USP criteria: not less than 3.5). Tailing Factors observed were 0.84 & 1.25 respectively (USP criteria: not more than 1.5 for each analyte). RSD found to be less than 2% for both analytes

Determination of a Single Methodology for the Analysis and Quantitation of Multiclass Veterinary Drugs in Different Animal Matrices Used for Consumption

Instrument Type: LCMSMS

Veterinary drugs are pharmacologically active compounds that can result in non-desirable drug residues in the food chain. Animals with high amounts of these drugs can cause harm in humans or can render the use of antibiotics useless due to the counter effects of the drugs. The quantification of over 200 multi-class veterinary drugs from different meat products usually involves time consuming extraction methods with either SPE or LLE. We describe a robust method, utilizing a single LC-MS/MS run to quantitate over 200 veterinary drugs in a variety of matrices.
