Detection of Organochlorine Pesticides by GC-ECD Following U.S. EPA Method 8081
Description
The application describes a convenient method for analyzing and quantifying organochlorinated pesticides in extracts from solid and liquid matrices using a gas chromatograph (GC) equipped with an electron capture detector (ECD), according to the US regulation EPA 8081. The ECD detector has been demonstrated to be a sensitive, cheaper, and easier-to operate alternative to mass spectrometry, showing an excellent selectivity toward organohalogenated compounds.Market: | Environmental |
