Determination of Humulones and Lupulones using Rapid Separation On-Line SPE
Description
The BeerNHop solution for high throughput was applied to analyze the Thermo Scientific humulones and lupulones standard. Automated analyte enrichment was done by on-line solid phase extraction (SPE) on a Thermo Scientific Hypersil GOLD C8 column. Then, the separation was performed on a Thermo Scientific Hypersil GOLD 1.9 µm column with UV detection at 270 nm. With a total run time of 15 minutes, the method allows fast screening for remaining humulones (or lupulones).
