Robust analysis of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) using a Thermo Scientific TraceGOLD TG-5MT metal GC column

In this work the Thermo Scientific TraceGOLD TG-5MT metal GC column is used for the analysis of PAHs. The selectivity of the TG-5MT column was found to be very similar to the TraceGOLD TG-5MS column. The advantage of using the metal column is the higher maximum operating temperature which means a high temperature 'bake-out' can be performed at the end of the analysis to remove any highly retained contaminants, ensuring a clean system is maintained.

High temperature analysis of palm oil using a Thermo Scientific TraceGOLD TG-5MT Metal GC Column
