AN814: US EPA Method 525.2 — Determination of Semivolatile Organics in Water by Solid-Phase Extraction and GC/MS Detection

Instrument Type: Automated Sample Prep

In this Application Note semivolatile organic compounds were determined in drinking water by SPE and capillary column gas chromatography/mass spectrometry.

AN1004: Automated Solid-Phase Extraction of Organochlorine Pesticides from Drinking Water

Instrument Type: Automated Sample Prep

Twenty chlorinated pesticides were extracted from drinking water using a Thermo Scientific Dionex AutoTrace 280 Solid Phase Extraction Instrument (AT 280). The efficiency of the Dionex AT280 method was compared to the traditional liquid-liquid phase extraction (LLE). The manual extraction required significantly more time compared to the Dionex AutoTrace 280 instrument. Analyte recovery was improved using the AT280 Automated SPE instrument for the majority of compounds without sacrificing the precision of analysis.

AN819: EPA Method 525.2: Extraction of Semivolatile Organic Compounds from Water Using AutoTrace 280 Solid-Phase Extraction Cartridges

Instrument Type: Automated Sample Prep

This work describes the use of the Dionex AutoTrace 280 instrument for extraction of semivolatile organic compounds from water samples.
