Size exclusion chromatography (SEC) is one of the major analyses in biotherapeutics characterization. Here we show the separation of a mAb (monomer) and its aggregates (e.g., dimer) with the Thermo Scientific Vanquish Flex UHPLC system. Produced from biological cell cultures, mAbs may contain significant amounts of dimers, trimers and other higher order aggregates. The MAbPac SEC-1 is specially designed for analysis of mAbs and their aggregates.

Improved analysis of polyethylene glycols using a Thermo Scientific Acclaim SEC-300 HPLC column

The Thermo Scientific HPLC system is applied for the analysis of polyethylene glycols (PEGs) by size exclusion chromatography. The separation is performed on a Thermo Scientific Acclaim SEC-300 HPLC column, with RI detection. The separation achieved is compared to the separation obtained on a Thermo Scientific Acclaim SEC-1000 HPLC column. Both give excellent performance for measuring molecular weight and size distribution for this class of polymers.
