Description
In this work the suitability and selective performance of the Thermo Scientific TraceGOLD TG-5SilMS for the analysis of total organic carbon was demonstrated. TOC can be used as a useful measure of the broad estimation or residual pesticides and other carbonaceous material. It is especially useful when coupled to mass selective detection as it allows identification and quantification of specific contaminating materials.
