Description
The BeerNHop solution using an on-line SPE-HPLC method was applied for the analysis of the Thermo Scientific isohumulones standard. Automated analyte enrichment was done by solid phase extraction (SPE) on a Thermo Scientific Hypersil GOLD C8 column. Then, the separation was performed on a Hypersil GOLD 3 μm column with UV detection at 270 nm. With a total run time of 15 minutes, the method allows fast screening for isohumulones in beer. Hence, beer bitterness is quantified and the isohumulone pattern is identified within minutes.Market: | Food and Beverage |
