AN279: Time Savings and Improved Reproducibility of Nitrate and Nitrite Ion Chromatography Determination in Milk Samples

In this study, a milk sample is subjected to an acid precipitation step prior to loading the sample into an autosampler vial. The remainder of the sample preparation is completed in-line with an InGuard HRP sample preparation cartridge.Nitrite and nitrate are then separated on an IonPac AS20 column set and detected by suppressed conductivity detection using a Reagent-Free IC (RFIC) system.
