Related substances analysis of Cefazoline using a C18 type HPLC column folowing EP 8.1 Monograph
Instrument Type: HPLCThe Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 LC system is applied for the related substances analysis for Cefazolin as per EP. The analysis was performed on a Thermo Scientific Hypersil Gold HPLC column using the method described in the EP 8.1 Monograph. The results obtained for resolution met the criteria as per EP. The results obtained for the resolution between Cefazolin & impurity L is found to be 5.3 (EP criteria is NLT 2.0).
