dbp anions analysis from water samples

Description

This application note describes a reagent-free ion chromatography (RFIC) method for determining trace oxyhalide disinfection byproducts (chlorite, bromate, and chlorate), bromide, and common inorganic anions in packaged drinking water and tap water. Using the Dionex IonPac AS19-4μm column, NGES-A suppressor, KOH eluent, and suppressed conductivity detection, the method achieves 0.50 μg/L detection with <2% RSD and 97–102% recoveries.
