AN004644 Determination of total fluorine, chlorine, and sulfur in liquefiedpetroleum gas using combustion-ion chromatography
Description
Natural gas, an important energy source, is often compressed into liquid for easier transportation. Combustion-IC (C-IC) has been previously demonstrated as an ideal approach to eliminate the sample matrix and increase sample homogeneity for various sample matrices. Additionally, C-IC is recognized as an ASTM standardized method (D7994) to determine halogens and sulfur in LPG. Here, we determine halides and sulfur species in LPG using C-IC, leveraging advances in the Thermo Scientific™ Cindion™ C-IC system using the Thermo Scientific™ Cindion™ LPG/Gas Module with built-in safety features.| Market: | Petrochem, Oil and Gas |
