Description

α- and β-bitter acids in hops were determined using the Thermo Scientific™ Vanquish™ Online SPE UHPLC system. Online SPE with a Hypersil GOLD™ C8 column (20 × 2.1 mm) eliminates the need for standalone SPE cartridges, while separation of α- and β-acids and their derivatives is achieved using a Hypersil GOLD™ C18 Selectivity column.
