AN002330: Improved HPAE-PAD method for determination of saccharides in atmospheric aerosol samples
Description
Biomass burning is a major source of particulate matter present in atmospheric aerosol. Anhydrosugars, sugar alcohols, monosaccharides, and disaccharides are among the major classes of water-soluble organic compounds (WSOC) in atmospheric aerosols. Saccharides have been proposed as markers to evaluate the contribution of these sources to atmospheric aerosols. Here, we developed an improved single column HPAE-PAD method to determine anhydrosugars, simple sugars, and sugar alcohols present in atmospheric aerosol samples using CarboPac PA300 column.Market: | Environmental |
