Description

As a result of the Nutrition Labeling and Education Act (NLEA) enacted in 1990, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (U.S.D.A.) require that the nutritional content of processed and packaged food is declared on the product label. This application updates AN 321 and demonstrates the fast and simple gravimetric determinations of total unbound fat in snack foods using the Dionex ASE 350 system combined with the Rocket Evaporator.
