polyacrylic acid nuclear power plant water

Description

Polyacrylic acid (PAA) has been used as a dispersant in the feed water to reduce the accumulation of metal oxide deposits on the secondary-side surfaces of the steam generators at nuclear power plants. This application describes a size-exclusion chromatography with UV detection method to determine low concentrations of PAA in secondary feed water containing ethanolamine (ETA) and hydrazine.
